Important organic table in wood and brass, Turin School, Italy, 1950s (unique piece). The table can be traced back to the most experimental moment of Italian organic design, when a new generation of architects and designers emerged from the post-war period and gave life to a new and highly refined phase of design. The work stands out for its lightness and refinement, combining wood and brass in a masterful way, and thanks to a glass top, it allows the observer to see the complex support structure. It is, in all likelihood, the work of a young architect from the Turin School, created for an important residence in Vercelli. The table has been cleaned and repolished by restorers and is ready to be used. Wear consistent with age and use.
