Postmodern marble console with a floating wooden screen.

This postmodern console combines the timeless elegance of white marble with the warmth of richly grained solid wood. The marble top rests on a wooden structure with thick square legs, while a raised, floating wooden screen is suspended above the surface by slender brushed metal supports, creating a refined architectural composition. Its bold geometric lines and balanced proportions give it a sculptural presence that transcends its function. It is suitable as a reception table, console, studio workspace, or statement piece, bringing a sophisticated architectural quality to both residential and commercial interiors. The combination of natural marble, warm-toned wood, and minimalist metal details reflects the refined aesthetic of European postmodern design. The floating screen provides both visual structure and intimacy, while highlighting the unique character of the piece. The table is in good vintage condition, with signs of wear consistent with age and use. A small chip is present on one corner of the marble top, as visible in the photographs, without detracting from the overall appearance or functionality. Specifications.
