Chair Thonet 17 reissue FMG

The company fmg (fabryka mebli gietych) is a polish factory of curved wooden furniture, producing in the former thonet factory in jasienica following its nationalization after the second world war. It took the name of fmg "jafameg" in 1945 before later becoming the "fameg" (bringing together other factories). Emblematic bistro chair model 17 of thonet by the manufacture of fmg braided in curved wood dating from the 1950s. Tubular wooden structure, some traces of wood wear visible in the photos. Seat and back in cannage in good condition except a cross undone but this minimal defect does not affect its solidity or aesthetics.
