Pair of armchairs in dyed and woven split rattan, not plastic scoubidou. This is a French artisanal technique from the 1950s, much rarer. • Rattan structure, seat/backrest/armrests in painted split rattan then hand-woven • Green fir/beige/caramel pattern, it's the Côte d'Azur style from 1950-55. This type of armchair was found in hotels in Saint-Tropez. There is also a pair of 1950 rattan armchairs by Audoux Minet from a hotel in Saint-Tropez that is exactly in this spirit. • It is the work of the school of Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet, highly sought-after French designers.
