Pair of Steelcase Strafor 421-48 armchairs – 1980s

Beautiful pair of vintage Steelcase Strafor armchairs, model 421-48, retaining their original Strafor labels under the seats. Structure made of chrome-plated steel tubing with an elegant cantilever base, black armrests, and padded seat and backrest, covered in a textured ecru beige fabric. The armchairs are in very good overall condition. The chrome is impeccable, shiny, and free from oxidation. The original fabric is also very well preserved, showing only slight signs of normal wear for its age. Model dating from the 1980s, probably from 1987 based on the information on the original label. Comfortable and sturdy armchairs, with a very nice modernist line. Perfect around a table, in front of a desk, or as extra seating. Height: 81 cm. Width: 61 cm. Depth: 55 cm.
