Lowboard, small hall chest of drawers, striped maple, 1960s

A distinctive lowboard in a classic 1960s style, featuring a lovely contrast between the darker body and the light-coloured fronts. Another eye-catching feature is the bevelled drawers, which open via a recessed handle. Its compact design makes it incredibly versatile – whether as a TV stand in the living room or as a small chest of drawers in the hallway or bedroom. The piece is mainly made from veneered chipboard, whilst the drawers are made from beech wood. It has been fully sanded and given a high-gloss finish. The fittings and keys are the original ones.
