Low country sideboard, solid wood, stylized, late 18th century.

Here is a magnificent buffet, of very good quality and stylized to modern tastes. It is made of solid wood and contains two drawers, a large two-door cupboard and a through shelf. It is pegged, shows traces of use. It is stable and solid. Its former owner, a breton artist, wanted to bring it up to date by adding canework on the doors and two stylized brass handles. This gives it a very special charm. It will be perfect in a country house but why in a more contemporary setting. It is made of solid wood and weighs heavy (you need at least two people to move it).
