Queen Anne Style Burr Walnut Round Coffee Table by Cameo (Circa 1960)

This is an attractive and very good quality Queen Anne style dark burr walnut circular coffee table, circa 1960, made by Cameo furniture makers, in excellent original condition. The table features an elegant piecrust moulding. The top consists of stunning quarter sections of burr walnut veneer, on a solid walnut frame and legs. Further below is a simple moulded frieze. The table is supported by four refined cabriole legs, which at the knees, feature elegant acanthus leaf carvings. The legs terminate on elegant pad shaped feet. This vintage coffee table is unique and quirky with a lovely rich colour; it would be an ideal interior decorators’ item. This coffee table boasts a mellow burr walnut colour. It has a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
