Superb large handmade glazed ceramic vase, signed Mongolfier - Yvon Roy workshop, French ceramist. A unique piece, as indicated by the inscription under the base. This vase impresses with its height of 40 cm, its amphora shape with a handle, and especially with its spectacular glaze: tobacco brown, bronze and turquoise tones with on each side a beautiful line drawing of a bird and abstract floral and solar motifs of tribal inspiration. The rendering is vibrant, with a controlled oxidation effect that testifies to true know-how. In excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Perfect as a centerpiece on a console... Superb!
