By the way... Daum. Nancy's glassworks was created in 1878 by jean daum. His sons auguste and antonin joined him and opened the production to artistic creation. The daums publish art nouveau-style glassware and the workshops welcome great artists - gruber, bergé, walter and its famous glass paste. The daum brothers participated with emile gallé in the founding of the school of nancy (1901). In the 1920s, glassware turned to art deco. After the second world war, under the leadership of paul daum, a new direction was given with more sober forms where transparent crystal took precedence. Today, daum's collections created by the greatest contemporary designers have an international reputation. Signature daum australia.
