Hunting trophy called 'head in cape', ancient taxidermy brought back from africa before 1950. Beautiful achievement, impressive and very chic! Very nice condition, easy to place (wooden inner support with metal frame, all weighing 8kg). The blue gnu (from the latin name " connochaetes taurinus ") is a species of cattle found in east africa (kenya, tanzania), southern africa (botswana, angola) and south africa. It is a ruminant, herbivore of large size (1.30 m at the withers for 200 kg on average), generally close to the "horned beasts" and ruminants of the plains (antelopes, gazelles, zebras...) living in vast herds in the grassy and wooded savannahs where they make large spectacular migrations.
