Teak sideboard from the 1970s by the English brand William Laurence, a renowned manufacturer established in the early 20th century. It consists of 4 facades of identical width. The composition of the units is as follows: a single unit with a door and a shelf, a unit with 3 drawers including one with compartments, a double unit with 2 hinged doors and an internal drawer. The handles are in gold metal, which adds a lot of uniqueness to this sideboard. A profiled strip highlights the line on the back of the top. The longitudinal axis of the leg is slightly curved. Overall good condition except for the top, which has undergone repairs with wood filler lighter than the teak. Approximately 5 repairs on the edge of the top. All repairs are smooth, so they can easily be covered with paint or have a worktop placed on top. Aside from the repairs, the top has a beautiful matte grain. The price reflects these defects. William Laurence is a manufacturer in Nottingham, England, whose furniture is sought after and scarce in the market (see the photo of the workshops in 1944).
