Charming asparagus dish in barbotine earthenware dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, probably of Belgian production. This antique piece is appealing due to its naturalistic relief decoration, composed of stylised foliage, branches, and asparagus, in soft tones of green, blue, and brown. The undulating shape and the moulding work reflect the era's taste for refined table arts inspired by nature. The ribbed central plate traditionally allowed for the presentation and draining of asparagus. A decorative piece full of charm, ideal for a characterful kitchen or within a collection of antique barbotines. Dimensions: 37.5 cm in length, 22 cm in width, and 9 cm in height. Very good overall condition, with excellent preservation of the glaze and decoration.
