Old walnut and chestnut shelf

A breath of modernity for this pretty shelf, a mix of walnut and chestnut. It can be installed on a sideboard or a work surface. You can place it on the floor and not necessarily against a wall (because it has a nice back: ) to organize the space. And if we want to hang it, it's possible! It was completely stripped. The parts left natural are protected by an ecological varnish. The bottom of the boxes is treated with different colors and textures: black (linseed oil paint) - light gray (casein paint with a satin beeswax finish) - ivory (same patina as the gray). A unique piece, it offers simple lines with soft and warm shades. Height of bottom boxes 34.5 cm - height of top boxes 29.5 cm. Marks of the past: the top of the shelf is warped (see in the photos).
