JUMO Lucidus Bloc Lamp Color: Matte brown In 1944, Yves Jujeau, Pierre and André Mounique created the new JUMO establishments in Bagnolet, a lighting factory (the brand is formed by combining the first syllables of their respective names). In 1945, André Mounique filed a design for a desk lamp: the "Lucidus bloc". Stocky and elegant, this table lamp has the particularity of being retractable and forming a single block once its arm is folded. The patent they filed protects an ingenious electrical and mechanical system: the incandescent bulb lights up automatically when the lampshade connected to the base by a chrome and copper articulated arm is unfolded. Three editions around this design success: 1944, 1980 and 2013. The model proposed is the 1980 reissue by the Japanese publisher Nice création Tokyo-Osaka. In perfect condition, it is a historical piece that has become rare. Dimensions: Max height: 45 cm / width: 20 cm. Length: 27. Weight: 3kg
