Enfilade - bath cabinet makers - 60s. This string of character is widely attributed to the danish furniture company mogens kold mobelfabrik, although it was manufactured in england by bath cabinet makers (bcm) and appears in their 1968 catalogue. The strong influence of the modern danish style is manifested in this long and elegant credenza in solid teak and veneer in golden honey tones with afromosia handles whose contrast is accentuated by the circular shape in a chamfered square. There are two drawers at each end. The central doors open to reveal two cabinets with shelves. Dimensions: w 198 X d 46 X h 74. Materials: teak. Period: 60s. Origin: england. Note, a sliding door has a veneer fitting that we tried to attenuate but which is visible (see photos) as well as some marks on the edge of the tray (see photos). Weight: about 20 kg.
