Glass fruit basket, Inwald Carnival molded glass bowl.

Original and superb fruit bowl, plant planter - oval shape - 4 feet included in the glass - marigold color (orange/amber enhanced with gold which gives this fabulous iridescent color) - subtle floral decoration with foliage and arabesques. This bowl is not signed but seems to come from the famous czech glassworks sowerby. (josef inwald 1837-1906). This marigold color was produced from 1921 to 1932. Height: 13.5 cm - length: 24.8 cm - width: 16.5 cm - weight: 1.490 kg. Good vintage condition: no snags or cracks - note that it is a little wobbly by a few millimeters: the small feet are not all equal in height - which has no impact.
