Beautiful and rare cut -void close old in the art nouveau style. Production from the island of murano (italy) dating from the 1960s or so. (label still legible). Murano glassmakers are renowned for their technique of creating layers of different colors from molten glass. The glassware is massive (1 cm thickness), translucent and lined with a deep blue and a parma pink. This piece was handcrafted and dates from around the 1960s. High quality part, hot formed and worked with tool. In perfect condition, no shine, no lack or defect. (see photos). The colors are shimmering, the art object is sublime.
