Elegant pair of display cups on a crystal pedestal mounted in solid silver in the louis XVI style by the goldsmith paul foucard. The crystal bowl is sun cut in the central part, engraved with friezes of lily of the valley garlands, the edge cut with a frieze engraved with pearls and lily of the valley flowers framed by two bands. The lip is surrounded by solid silver decorated with a row of pearls, the pedestal is molded and decorated with two rows of pearls, the reverse side is vermilion. Hallmarks (straps and pedestals) • minerva 1st title • master goldsmith: pf two wings surmounted by a bezel for paul foucard (parisian goldsmith who worked between 1913 and 1919).
