Nice Russian Khokhloma vase, in black laqué metal and floral motifs, hand-painted. The vase has a decoration of colorful flowers, painted on the hairsa surcharge. The inside of the vase is gilded, it has a trace of old label peeled under the base. Khokhloma is the name of a traditional craft that appeared in Russia in the mid-17th century, in small villages on the left bank of the volga, including khokhloma.
