Two white porcelain ashtrays from the German manufacturer Arzberg. This company, founded in 1931, has seen increasing international success thanks to its high-quality creations with simple and timeless lines, as well as collaborations with renowned designers. The design was created by Jean Luce (1895-1964), who specialised in tableware. He worked for various French pottery manufacturers such as Haviland and others, including Arzberg. He became known for his attention to the renewal of shapes in table services. The ashtrays, with their graphic and timeless lines, are functional as they are stackable. There is a manufacturer's stamp from Arzberg under each piece. In very good condition, with two small chips under one ashtray (see photos). Dimensions: height 2.5 cm, diameter 9.5 cm. Weight without packaging: 300 g. Sold as a set.
