Christofle set of 12 Malmaison Empire oyster forks

These twelve oyster forks are made of silver-plated metal by the silversmith Christofle. This oyster set is perfect for your festive tables. Malmaison is the quintessential Empire style, named after the château that was the favorite retreat of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Empress Josephine. Resolutely chic, its openwork leaf ornaments and symmetrical decoration lend an elegant touch to your table. Made of silver-plated metal by Christofle, this model was created in 1909 and is adorned with Empire-style palmettes and waterleaf friezes. Malmaison is still available (each oyster fork sells for €100 new, for a total of €1200). The silver plating on Christofle cutlery is of very high quality and extremely durable! All pieces are marked "Christofle" and bear the silversmith's hallmark OC. In good condition, they show some minor scratches from use. Dimensions: 15 cm.
