Rambervillers S.A.P.C. flamed sandstone pitcher

Green sandstone pitcher with metallic reflections, produced by the anonymous ceramics company of rambervillers in the vosges. In 1903, alphonse cytère (1861-1941) created a workshop for the production of artistic sandstones: flamed sandstone and metal-reflected sandstone. This pitcher is referenced "441" in the 1920 catalogue. It is marked under the base "rambervillers" and "france", "united" being partly erased. Its production dates from 1920 to 1931.
