Large antique semi-vitrified porcelain cup accompanied by its matching saucer, Céranord Saint-Amand. An elegant tricolour palette very much in the style of the 1920s-1930s: a deep, glossy black exterior, a delicately iridescent yellow interior that captures the light, and subtle touches of white that rhythmically enhance the whole. A particularly successful design detail catches the eye: the inside of the handle remains white, echoing the underside of the saucer and creating a very refined graphic contrast. The saucer features a white edge that was once highlighted by a fine golden line, now partially patinated by time, which enhances the authentic charm of the piece. With a wide diameter and low silhouette, this cup corresponds to the large formats of the era intended for hot chocolate or generous morning coffees. Stamped Céranord Saint-Amand. In beautiful vintage condition, with slightly faded and patinated gold lines in places (see photos). Cup: diameter 11.5 cm, height 5.5 cm. Saucer: diameter 16.5 cm. A cup with graphic charm, ideal for a coffee table in a Parisian interior blending antique objects with contemporary spirit.
