For sale a nice painting representing a landscape of the south of France depicting a bell tower with a clock probably that of a church or a town tower, in a typical Mediterranean environment with a village in the background. Signed M André, it could therefore be Marcel André, Madeleine André, Michel André Who are all three known for having made paintings of this kind in landscapes of the south of France. The painting was done not on a canvas but on a wooden board The whole is original, period and in good condition overall despite some traces of time spent on the frame only. Frame dimensions: total length 33 cm height 42 cm thickness 3.2 cm.
