Travertine console table consisting of a smooth beveled top and a foot with the 2 largest grooved faces and the small smooth sides. Vintage furniture from the 90s but in perfect condition. This table comes directly from the back of the workshop of the designer Claude Berraldacci, who designed it in the 90s. The brand was called "La Pierre Haute Couture". The stone is the purest of what exists in travertine. It comes from the Tivoli quarry near Rome, from where the Vatican buildings, the Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain are extracted. The travertine from this region is very pure, with few veins and a very light color. The stone is worked with the great know-how of Berraldacci which allows to have a "softened travertine": natural and matte appearance, soft to the touch. His work highlights the timeless dimension of travertine, which harmonizes with all styles of decoration (a phrase that is usually clichéd but is true for travertine). Latest photos: model in a coffee table from the period catalog and portrait of Berraldacci. Height: 120 cm. Dimensions of the foot 46 X 28 cm. Free delivery in Paris and the near suburbs. Shipping on estimate for other destinations. Many other pieces on my Selency shop. Click on "see the shop".
