Antique rustic armchair in walnut and leather, 18th century.

An armchair whose beauty reveals itself in the details. Its curved and delicate armrests tapering to their tips. The wood marked by the artisan's hand: irregularities, natural knots, discreet patterns, and that deep patina that only two centuries of use could provide. The structure is assembled using the traditional technique of mortise and tenon joints, showcasing the craftsmanship of the 18th century between 1780 and 1820. The joints at the base of the legs, punctuated by small nails, tell a poetic story of period restoration. Finally, the seat has been reupholstered in warm-toned brown leather, whose elegance naturally complements the old wood, while the original weaving remains visible beneath the seat and is in very good condition.
