An old photogravure created around 1900, depicting a young woman in period lingerie, caught in an intimate gesture: adjusting her garters. She wears a whalebone corset, a frilly knickerbockers with lace, and stockings held up by black ribbons. The scene takes place in a bourgeois interior with furniture adorned with delicately embroidered linen. Black and white print on glossy paper, carefully framed under a black mount in a black lacquered wooden frame with a gold fillet. The overall condition is good, with some slight signs of wear on the edges of the frame. A metal ring is attached to the back for immediate wall hanging.
