Antique sauce boat from the Sarreguemines workshops – Bitche model, produced between 1930 and 1950, when the former units of the factory were brought together under the name Sarreguemines–Digoin–Vitry-le-François. This period marked a stylistic renewal: more modern shapes, hand-embellished decorations, and a craftsmanship that spanned decades. The piece features a typical faceted silhouette, delicately flared, combined with a hand-painted floral design: pink and saffron-yellow flowers, deep green foliage, and a freehand-painted burgundy rim. This artisanal charm is rarely found in later productions. The decoration differs on each side of the sauce boat. On the reverse, the stamp “Sarreguemines – Bitche – France” attests to its origin. In good vintage condition, with a fine network of age-related cracks, a natural testament to its age and craftsmanship. Length 22 cm from spout to handle, width 9 cm, height 6.5 cm A perfect piece for a romantic heritage ambiance, blending antique charm with contemporary elegance.
