Workshop door 258.4x98.5cm in iron and colored cathedral glass

Large and unusual door measuring 258.4x98.5cm and its colored glass. Heavy and massive, pushing straight, this door is from the first half of the 20th century (more than 80kg). Solid in the lower part (up to 101cm high), the top is composed of its cathedral glasses in relief, translucent, transparent in the center, colored on the edge, in yellow-orange and pink-purple. Note that the pane at the top right seen from the outside, starry but well in place, could be replaced by a similar glass, or opt for a change of the four corner glasses, even if it is necessary to choose the tint to adapt it to its future location. The central pane of the lower part of the glass roof is opening. It opens from the inside by a latch. On the outside, a metal shelf can be tilted at the front. It forms a small tray to serve as a wicket. This tilting part is engaged in metal parts screwed onto the door. The whole is painted in light gray-beige, traces of wear and some dents (see many photos). Its unusual size and this "wicket" system make this old workshop or warehouse door a surprising and authentic decorative element! This solid glass door can be reused as a partition wall, glass roof. Dimensions: 258.4cm high, 98.5cm wide and 3.5cm thick.
