Vintage Twisted Brass Mirror ø 5

Superb vintage circular bathroom mirror of German origin, dating from the 1970s. A neoclassical and Hollywood Regency-inspired centrepiece, it stands out with a stunning patinated brass frame crafted in twisted rope, enhanced by its four hexagonal cabochons. More than just a decorative object, this mirror is a testament to the high-quality mirror-making of West Germany (FRG). Its back bears the official stamp "GUTEZEICHEN RAL" (German quality label) as well as its unique serial number (217293) and batch marking. This historic elite label (required by the Gütegemeinschaft Deutsche Spiegel, which includes prestigious manufacturers like Flabeg) guarantees optical quality crystal glass without distortion, as well as reinforced silvering. Originally designed to withstand the humidity of high-end bathrooms. This high-end mirror is part of a bathroom suite. The matching pair of wall sconces (with their beautiful intact textured glass globes resembling crushed ice) as well as the large thick plexiglass (lucite) courtesy shelf and its brass fixings are also available for sale in my shop.
