Antique fish service 2 pieces in box – Belle Époque silverware

Sumptuous fish service, 2 pieces from the Belle Époque / Art Nouveau period. Blades engraved with golden leaf motifs, presented in its original box from the V. Brun jeweller in Barbezieux. This prestigious fish cutlery set includes a knife with a cut-out blade and a matching server. Made around 1900, this set is distinguished by the engraving work on the gilded upper part (vermeil/gold metal) depicting volutes of acanthus leaves and flowers. The elegant handles provide an excellent grip. Presented in its original case printed with the name of the silversmith "V. Brun - Barbezieux". A precious testament to the French art of the table from the early 20th century.
