Malicorne Bourg-Joly openwork fruit bowl signed Moreau

Very beautiful fruit bowl on foot in white enameled ceramic with very nice openwork. It is a high quality handmade work, with very clean cuts, very successful enameling. It is marked "fait main" underneath with a monogram, a capital m. According to my research, it was produced in malicorne by the bourg-joly earthenware factory which has existed since 1747. The manager of the malicorne ceramics museum confirmed to me that it would have been made during the moreau period (jules moreau and his descendants) or between 1918 and 1993. But the person from whom I found it, always saw it in the family home, so it probably dates from before 1970. The bourg-joly earthenware factory still produces a model quite close to this one today using the same openwork techniques of the 18th century. We can also note the difference with other manufacturers that offered this type of cup: this one is in one piece unlike many others whose foot and cup are joined by a very unsightly metal piece. This cup is in perfect condition, no cracks, no chips, not even a chip, barely a few marks under the base. It measures 21 cm in height for a maximum diameter of 23.5 cm.
