Killin armchair by sergio rodrigues 1973. The design of the "killin" armchair, which is a testament to sergio rodrigues' signature shapes and materials, consists of a wooden frame and leather cover that are joined together with dowels and pins, and are considerably lighter than rodrigues' other iconic armchairs. With its name derived from a shortened version of rodrigues's affectionate nickname for his wife, "esquilinho" (or "little squirrel"), the "kilin" is a simple, versatile armchair that quickly became a classic of brazilian design and carries with it a bit of rodrigues' personal history.
