Impressive danish rosewood wall unit made by ps system randers, from the 1960s and designed most likely by preben sorensen. Ps system wall units as well as cadovius units from the same period offer a refined, space-saving solution that blends form and function with classic scandinavian craftsmanship. Spectacular, especially when crafted in rich grain rosewood. The unit consists of three vertical rails that support a combination of open shelves and cabinets, all finished in extremely rich grain rosewood veneer. Brass supports add contrast and ensure the shelves remain sturdy and well-balanced. The composition includes a total of eight open shelves, perfect for displaying books, art, or personal items, alongside three cabinets. Two with sliding doors, and one with glass doors. The unit will decorate any space and add a luxurious mid century look to it... The set consists of: 2x cabinet(one shelf inside each) h: 50/w: 80/ d: 45 cm. Cabinet(2x shelf inside) h: 51/ w: 80/ d: 20 cm. 8x shelf w: 80/ d: 20 cm. 4x solid wood rails 200 cm long. The unit has been professionally renovated. The wood has been thoroughly cleaned, and protected with high-quality compounds, and the surface has been carefully polished to bring out the natural beauty of the rosewood grain. The brass has been polished. All components work properly together, and the system is ready for immediate use. A rare and striking example of danish modernism – functional, elegant, and built to last.
