Vintage “Ted Net” Folding Chairs by Niels Gammelgaard, IKEA, 1980s

A classic of 80s industrial design by niels gammelgaard for ikea, which has now become a true cult piece: the “ted net” chair, with its welded metal mesh structure, lacquered in a bright red. Lightweight, practical, graphic, it ticks all the boxes. Both functional and ultra decorative, it fits equally well in a contemporary living room, a child’s bedroom, an office corner or around a mismatched table indoors or outdoors. One of the chairs is slightly different from the others but this is barely noticeable. Total height: 80 cm seat height: 46 cm width: 46 cm depth: 39 cm.
