Children's desk, circa 1950

Charming vintage desk in honey-colored oak with checkerboard decoration. Children's model. Typical of the 1950s/1960s, it has a door that opens onto 4 drawers and a large drawer under the top. The top, which has been sanded and varnished, is protected by a beveled glass plate. The door which has retained its original key locks. Very robust and stable on its 6 feet, it is in good used condition. We find the manufacturer's mark under the tray. Visible signs of time: traces of use, small wear and friction, superficial scratches on the glass plate.
