Folding fireplace screen in brushed steel and gilded brass – 1960s

Antique three-panel fireplace screen, made of brushed steel and dark metal mesh, with an elegant interior frame in gilded brass. The central part, slightly arched at the top, is flanked by two movable side panels that allow for adjustment of the opening in front of the hearth and easy folding of the screen when not in use. It is in a beautiful state of preservation, with signs of age and use consistent with its age, particularly visible on the metal parts and hinges, without any structural defects.
