Pair of antique "Fan" armchairs in wood – late 19th / early 20th century

Beautiful pair of antique chairs known as "Éventail", probably from the late 19th century or the very early 20th century, around 1900. Their silhouette is particularly elegant, featuring a high openwork back composed of fine vertical spindles, a curved upper rail, and long, slightly curved armrests. The whole rests on a simple and sturdy structure made of solid wood stained brown. The chairs have retained a lovely old patina. The wood shows signs of use, scratches, and marks, particularly on the seats, consistent with their age and contributing to their authentic charm. They can be used as they are or subject to light restoration according to taste. A decorative pair with a lot of character, ideal for an old interior, chic country style, family home, or in contrast with more contemporary decor.
