6 brutalist style chairs attributed to Georges Robert.

Set of 6 rustic French chairs attributed to Georges Robert, circa 1950. Stained solid wood, straw seats. Models with cylindrical legs and curved backs with 3 rungs. In the stylistic spirit of the Brutalist movement as well as the works of Charlotte Perriand, Charles Dudouyt, Artisans de Marolles… Very good overall condition, beautiful patina of age, stable and robust structure. Note that the straw seating is in usable condition, but still largely functional as is, with no holes or sagging (see the photos where the straw is visible, knowing that all 6 seats are similar in condition). The last photo in the gallery shows the underside of one seat, as the seats are removable. Chairs cleaned and waxed for the occasion...
