Original red 1960's formica drop leaf table that seats 2-4 people. A staple of many homes back in the mid 20th century, formica topped tables were practical and stylish. They came in many shapes, sizes, patterns and colours, instantly transforming any dull kitchen/dining room. Their smooth glossy surface meant for easy cleaning should you spill your corn flakes on a morning or fondue on an evening. Featuring a vibrant red colour with subtle pattern. Beech frame and legs. 2 leaf that can be opened separately. Condition: The wooden legs also feature some markings, but have had a fresh coat of oil applied ensuring that they look their best once more. The hinges also feature some heavy tarnish and rusting, but lift up and fold down nice and easily. The top has no signs of fading and is fab condition for it's age. Picture shows a few of the minor indents and chips in the formica. A great vintage addition to any small kitchen or living / dining room! We upcycle, restore and update vintage pieces meaning all our furniture has been previously loved. Pieces may show some signs of minor wear and use, which we feel adds to its charm. Dimensions. Closed. 75 cm wide. 50 cm depth. 74 cm high. Open. 96 cm wide. 75 cm depth. 74 cm high. Each side 23.5 X 75 cm.
