In 1968, Gaetano Pesce began experimenting in his Paris workshop with vacuum polyurethane, a material that was very trendy at the time. He quickly developed a prototype that defied gravity: a disc ten centimetres thick that, once removed from its PVC packaging, rose from the ground to transform into a comfortable chair. He aptly named it "Up". The final product was far from an ordinary chair. Its rounded shape was inspired by... Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Slight discolouration. Overall good condition — minor wear on the seat, missing elastic connecting the chair to the footrest. The overall condition is consistent with normal use; please refer to the photos.
