Antique plate Haviland & Co Vermont Frères – polychrome porcelain with birds and flowers

Magnificent antique porcelain plate, decorated in polychrome with birds, flowers, and fine plant branches. Very beautiful shape work with a wide scalloped border and deeply fluted edges, giving a lot of relief to the whole piece. The decoration is particularly delicate, featuring several birds surrounded by pink and blue flowers on a white porcelain background. On the reverse, there are the marks H & Co as well as the stamp of the Parisian house Vermont Frères, with the addresses 52 Faubourg Saint-Antoine, 17 rue Auber, and 12 avenue de l’Opéra in Paris. This type of marking is associated with Haviland & Co porcelain marketed by the Vermont house. Probably late 19th – early 20th century. A very beautiful collector's piece, also superb as wall decoration or in an accumulation of antique tableware. Very good overall condition. No chips or cracks noted.
