6 fruit slip plates in Castres earthenware (ø 20.5 cm)

Set of very pretty old dessert plates stamped with the earthenware factory of castres and dating from the early twentieth century. Airbrush and stencil décor. Central motif, different for each, representing different fruits on branches (grapes, strawberries, peaches, pears, quinces or apples). The edges of each plate are decorated with a slip frieze. Very nice condition, weathered earthenware at will. One plate, however, has a hair on the reverse (central pattern of green fruit). Diameter: 20.5 cm. Weight: 1.9 kg (x6). We also offer another set of 4 dessert plates of the same "fruit" service of castres. We take care to choose objects in a beautiful general condition, but they have all known at least one other life and may show traces of time and their use.
