In 1969, Charles and Ray Eames developed the original design of the Aluminium Group chairs produced by Herman Miller, equipping them with soft, individually upholstered cushions. They named it the Soft Pad Chair. Its simple lines, innovative use of materials, and comfort of the suspension have made it a design icon, keeping it among the most popular seating choices for both office and home for over 50 years. Upholstered in black leather, with a four-star swivel base and chrome aluminium armrests. In good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use.
