Large, mainly decorative, white, hand-painted vase in glazed ceramic/porcelain, from the Italian house Paolo Marioni, created in 1966 in Calenzano, near Florence, Tuscany. World-renowned and still in business, this artisanal manufacturer draws inspiration from Italian history and culture to produce product lines including furniture, lighting, decorative objects and upholstery fabrics. While the Paolo Marioni factory has produced several models of vases of such a large size as the one presented here since its creation, this one is part of a range - produced in the 1980s, so it is over 40 years old - including, in particular, lamp bases, which the lucky ones can still find - at admittedly high prices - on certain antique dealer sites or on certain specialized internet platforms. This large vase has the following dimensions: height 63 cm, base diameter 17 cm, belly diameter 33 cm, neck diameter 13.5 cm. Weight: 8 kg. Given its size, this vase will be able to ensure a real decorative presence in a large living room, such as a living room (high traffic rooms should be avoided to avoid the risk of snagging it), placed on the floor next to a fireplace or on a low corner table of a sofa/couch, in the corner of a room. To ensure better stability of the vase, the house paolo marioni had the good idea of weighting it down from the bottom, from the inside of the vase. Which explains its weight, heavier than usual. Despite its artisanal origin, this large vase does not present any defects, nor signs of wear, nor cracks, nor cracks in the enamel. Its whiteness has remained perfect. The object is simply as if it came out of the factory. Shipment in a double-shell package: your vase is first wrapped in bubble wrap in a 1st box, itself in turn wrapped and protected with moving bubbles in a 2nd box, larger and reinforced.
