Strehla Keramik 1247 Green-Brown Zigzag Vase - GDR East-German Ceramics

A vintage east-german (gdr) ceramic vase with two tiny handles, made from white clay by the firm strehla keramik (veb sachsen) and featuring a zigzag motif in colours of green and brown. Likely made in the 1970s. The bottom of the base has model number 1247 inscribed, and is stamped with the strehla keramik logo and the mention of "import handgemalt". The vase is in excellent condition. There are two minor damages on the inside of the rim (see photos). Stands 12 cm tall, ca 13 cm wide (7 cm wide at the base and 7.5 cm wide at the mouth). Weighs approximately 450 grams.
