Magnificent Vladislav Urban vase (1937-2022), “Rosice” model, circa 1960. Vladislav Urban is a Czechoslovakian glass designer, specialist in pressed glass. The warsaw pact invasion of czechoslovakia in 1968 forced vladislav urban to leave the art center in which he had been practicing for many years. The “rosice” model is one of its most successful and emblematic, with a curvy design with its large, very graphic “bubbles”. Very good quality, very heavy.
