A superb antique West German ceramic vase, signed Scheurich – W. Germany, model numbered 293-27 or 298-27 (number slightly faded under the base). Dating from the 1960s–70s, it perfectly embodies the Fat Lava style, with its thick, textured, and cratered glaze. The decoration features beautiful horizontal bands alternating between deep brown, warm ochre areas, and a spectacular porous white lava flow. The material effect is reminiscent of volcanic rock and perfectly illustrates the experimental spirit of West German pottery of this period. A sought-after collector's item, in very good overall condition, with no chips or cracks. Ideal as a mid-century modern decorative element, to enrich a collection of Fat Lava vases, or as a strong accent in a contemporary interior. 🔹 Height: 27 cm (10.6") 🔹 Maximum width: 15 cm (5.9") 🔹 Weight: 1.178 kg (2.60 lb) 📦 Fast shipping, protected and careful package.
