Danish Mid-Century Modern Rosewood Chest of Drawers, 1960s

Elegant Danish Mid-Century Modern chest of drawers from the 1960s, featuring beautifully figured rosewood veneer with rich natural color and dramatic grain. The cabinet is designed with four drawers arranged in two rows and distinctive elongated wooden pulls that complement the strong horizontal character of the piece. A simple wooden base with four straight legs gives the cabinet a light architectural appearance while retaining the functionality and craftsmanship characteristic of Danish furniture from this period. With its compact dimensions, the piece is particularly versatile and can be used as a bedroom dresser, living room storage cabinet, entryway chest or low console. The rosewood has been carefully refurbished to enhance its striking natural grain while retaining the authentic character of the vintage piece. Minor signs of use and age remain consistent with its 1960s origin.
